Now designed in their Melbourne studio, Jane Hill create intricate, beautiful dresses for the fashion established bride, with an exceptional attention to fit, detail and overall design. Classic cat eye necklines, draped pleats and soft ruching over the bust are just some of the details Jane Hill designs have become well known for. You will still find Jane’s daughters Jasmine and Bella at the helm, ensuring their mother’s legacy lives on.

Jane Hill dresses are between £2,650- £3,520 at RRP. It’s worth considering that Jane Hill also offer split sizing for an additional fee, which is usually highly recommended. We can’t say whether a bride will need split sizing until we have done their full measurements, however it’s quite common for women to be three different sizes on their bust, waist and hips. Instead of ordering a dress in one straight size we order it in the three different sizes you need, for those three different areas. Your dress will always need alterations and tweaks with a seamstress but ordering a split size means we can already get the dress as close to your natural size and shape as possible.

Jane Hill dresses often appear one size smaller than your usual UK size. Depending on the style and how you like the fit, sometimes we may measure you as being slightly above your usual high street size. This isn’t anything to worry about. Their sizing is converted from Australian to UK and we are working off a size chart that is very specific to this designer.

We usually only stock one size of each Jane Hill design.The sizes vary from style to style but usually it will be anywhere between a UK10-14. On some more popular styles we may stock two sizes. If you are unsure about sizing or want to check that we have a specific size in stock, please email ahead before your appointment. We are happy to help arrange and advise.

We continue to update our collection throughout the year which means some of our Jane Hill styles do eventually end up in our sample room. These can be a range of sizes and the dresses can sell through quite quickly, so if you are looking for a sample sale dress and want to make sure we have your size, please check the sample sale section of the website for details or email us ahead of your appointment.

Jane Hill lead times are between 6 and 7 months from when you first place your order. We will be able to give you more information on timings and collections at your appointment. With your wedding date in mind, please also consider that your seamstress will need at least two months prior to your wedding to make alterations at your two final fittings. (Please note that depending on the level of alterations to the dress, if you are making any significant changes, some seamstresses would require three months.)
